Faero Ltd has "ceased to trade"
Faero Ltd was established in February 2006 to run a Competent Person Scheme for SAP and Carbon Dioxide Emission Rate calculations.
Carbon Dioxide Emission Rate calculations have been required by Part L of the Building Regulations since April 2006. SAP calculations form the basis of Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) for new homes, which will be required from 1st January, 2008.
On 22nd August 2007, Faero Ltd's board unanimously agreed that Faero Ltd should immediately cease to trade, and proceed towards corporate dissolution. The reasons are set out in the Notification of ceasing to trade, which may be downloaded here.
